Combat2Career was retained by the University of Connecticut School of Business Full-Time MBA Program to evaluate the program’s market position and provide strategic recommendations for improving active duty military and military veteran recruitment and retention for the UConn MBA Program, both through increasing visibility of the program within the target market locally and regionally, and implementing resources to increase applicant yield and student engagement. C2C also facilitated introductions between UConn MBA Program administrators and the University’s Veterans Affairs staff, to ensure collaboration among departments in servicing prospective and enrolled student veterans for the MBA program.
Upon completion of the project, Combat2Career presented a comprehensive analysis and report comprised of the following:
- Report of case studies and best practices from competing MBA programs with robust veteran programs
- UConn MBA program SWOT analysis regarding current veteran outreach/recruiting practices
- Strategic recommendations for improving veteran outreach, recruitment and retention in the short-term (identification of strategic partners, marketing and advertising/media channels, etc.)
